Fiammo Terms of Service

1. About Fiammo

Fiammo is a private, text-first social app. Posts are shared within small, user-defined circles and with your friends, and automatically expire ("burn") 24 hours after posting. Fiammo also offers an "echo" feature, letting people respond privately to specific parts of a post, and an optional AI feature (Constellation) that surfaces patterns in your writing.

2. Your Account

You can create an account with a phone number, or with an email address and password, or by signing in with Google, Apple, or Facebook. You must provide accurate account information and are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.

3. Circles & Friends

You control who is in your circles and who you're friends with on fiammo. You may add other people to a circle, which may result in fiammo sending them a one-time SMS invitation on your behalf (see Section 6 and our Privacy Policy). By adding someone to a circle and confirming an invitation, you confirm you have their permission to be contacted.

4. Posts, Echoes, and Burning

• Posts you share are visible only to the circles and friends you choose, and automatically become invisible to others 24 hours after posting ("burning"). See our Privacy Policy for how burned posts are retained on our systems.
• The "echo" feature allows others to respond privately to a specific line or phrase in your post. Echo activity may be shown to you, the original poster, including who echoed and how many times.
• Readers of your posts (other than you, the author) see anonymized indicators of echo activity, without counts or identities.

5. AI Features (Constellation)

Constellation is an optional feature that analyzes your post content using a third-party AI provider (Groq) to surface thematic patterns in your writing over time. Your content is not used to train any third-party model. See our Privacy Policy for details.

6. SMS Notifications

By opting in, you agree to receive SMS notifications about circle activity. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or START to opt back in. See our Privacy Policy for full details on how SMS consent works, including the one-time invitation sent when you add someone to a circle.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use fiammo to harass, threaten, or share content that violates others' rights or applicable law, including sending unsolicited invitations to people who haven't agreed to be contacted.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, including misuse of the circle-invitation feature.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of fiammo after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
